Vänsterpartisten Jonas Sjöstedt har gått om Liberalernas Marit Paulsen som den mest kryssade svenska EU-parlamentariker någonsin.
Jonas Sjöstedt fick enligt den preliminära personrösträkningen över 250 000 kryss av väljarna. Det är det klart enskilt störst antalet i ett svenskt EU-val. Sjöstedt fick även många kryss när han satt i EU-parlamentet 1995–2006.
Det gör att Jonas Sjöstedt nu går om Marit Paulsen (L) som den totalt mest kryssade svenska EU-parlamentarikern någonsin enligt Europaportalens unika sammanställning.
In på topp-tio-listan efter EU-valet 2024 tar sig även Miljöpartiets Alice Bah Kuhnke och Moderaternas Tomas Tobé.
